Blogger BioBlitz update, and a map experiment

Let me share some new developments in the discussion and planning for the upcoming Blogger BioBlitz, as some of you may have seen on the Google group.

First off, check Jeremy Bruno's update at the Voltage Gate which remains Blogger BioBlitz central. Join the Google group if you want to participate in / lurk around the ongoing discussion of logistics and other details.

If you are planning to participate, and need help identifying some of the organisms you may come across, Bev of the Burning Silo has put up a list of ID-help links. And if you know of other sites on id'ing your favorite taxa, please send them to Bev.

Finally, for the experimental map bit, let me see if I can get a map of potential sites around Fresno to show up here:

Let me know if you cannot (or can) see the map. I'm still figuring out how it all works.
